In early 2026, I took over Pinhook's social entirely — absorbing the role of content creator, designer, copywriter, photographer, and community manager after parting ways with our outside agency. With that came a full rebuild of our social strategy from scratch: three clear pillars, education, brand storytelling, and behind-the-scenes, replacing a scattered approach with one built around what actually moves people. The results were immediate. In the first six months leading social myself, we matched nearly two years of prior growth.

Cask strength gets misunderstood a lot.
It’s often assumed to simply mean higher proof, but really it refers to whiskey that is bottled directly from the cask after aging, with no dilution. This is the spirit as it comes out of the barrel, offering a closer expression of that particular blend, with a more intense, pure, and robust flavor profile than standard diluted spirits.
While the proof is higher, it’s not just about intensity. It allows for more of the whiskey’s character to come through, with depth and nuance that can be appreciated neat, or that holds its own in a cocktail.
It’s one of our favorite ways to experience bourbon. Nothing added, nothing taking away. Just where the barrels took us.
